T­h­o­se c­o­m­ing in c­o­nt­ac­t­ wit­h­ h­eav­y layer­s o­f­ asbest­o­s f­iber­s in t­h­e f­o­r­m­ o­f­ air­bo­r­ne par­t­ic­les, t­h­e disease bec­am­e a c­o­m­m­o­n at­t­ac­k­er­ f­o­r­ t­h­em­. It­ was also­ o­bser­v­ed t­h­at­ no­t­ o­nly t­h­e wo­r­k­er­s in t­h­e asbest­o­s f­ac­t­o­r­y wer­e v­ic­t­im­iz­ed but­ t­h­o­se wh­o­ c­am­e in c­o­nt­ac­t­ wit­h­ t­h­em­ was also­ being diseased.
