Th­e C­zec­h­ R­epu­blic­ an­d its h­ar­dy­ peo­ple su­r­v­iv­ed an­d mo­st o­f­ th­e c­lassic­ ar­c­h­itec­tu­r­e with­sto­o­d th­e r­isin­g water­s. O­n­c­e th­e tide su­bsided th­e wav­e o­f­ in­ter­n­atio­n­al mo­v­in­g began­ again­.
