The full form of a PDA is personal digital assistant which is a very light small electronic device that you can hold within your palms. These are basically the features that you can find in a mobile as well. But at the same time it contains spreadsheets, word processors, notepads and appointment fixers. There are the facilities that you normally get from a computer. In short these PDAs pr pocket computers are a perfect combination of a mobile and a computer. This means you can make or receive a call or send an email message from the same device. The more advanced ones also have integrated Bluetooth software that helps in transferring various files, videos, music etc. Wi-Fi along with the WAN connections is also available in these electronic devices.
The pocket computers are probably the smallest form of computer that can be easily accommodated inside your pocket and has all possible features that you can imagine. You can load the operating systems for windows in these pocket PCs. They have the easily navigable keyboards and download facility that helps you to add various software to the device. You get to do all the tasks that you generally perform on a computer even when you are in a car or out for a tour. This is the reason why these two products are gradually capturing the market of electronic appliances and giving tough competition to the other products. The popular brands include Blackberry and Apple.
