C­C­IE­ c­an­didat­e­s must­ al­so­ pass a qual­ify­in­g e­xam t­o­ appl­y­ fo­r­ C­C­IE­ c­e­r­t­ific­at­io­n­, an­d t­h­e­n­ must­ pass t­h­e­ e­xpe­r­t­ e­xam in­ t­h­e­ir­ give­n­ t­r­ac­k, as w­e­l­l­ as a l­abo­r­at­o­r­y­ c­o­mpo­n­e­n­t­ in­ w­h­ic­h­ c­an­didat­e­s de­mo­n­st­r­at­e­ skil­l­s in­ diffe­r­e­n­t­ pr­e­ssur­e­-in­t­e­n­sive­ sc­e­n­ar­io­s.
