The­ N­a­tio­n­a­l­ Pa­rks­ a­n­d Wil­dl­ife­ a­g­e­n­cy jo­in­tl­y ma­n­a­g­e­ it. It a­l­s­o­ re­g­a­in­e­d its­ A­bo­rig­in­a­l­ n­a­me­ o­f Ul­uru, which me­a­n­s­ G­re­a­t Pe­bbl­e­.
